Welcome! Cheryl Becker, DVM, CCRP, CVA, CVCHM, CVMMP
Dr. Cheryl has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for companion animals. A small animal practitioner since graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003, she combines years of clinical experience with a strong passion for integrative medicine to help pets live healthier, happier lives. In 2011, Dr. Cheryl completed the University of Tennessee Canine Physical Rehabilitation Program, earning her certification in canine rehabilitation (CCRP). Her commitment to expanding her skills continued, and in 2013 she became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) under the guidance of Dr. Huisheng Xie at Chi University. Furthering her integrative approach, she earned her Certification in Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine (CVCHM)through the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, studying with Dr. Steve Marsden. In addition, she holds certification in Veterinary Medical Manipulation (CVMMP)from the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute, a discipline comparable to chiropractic care for humans. Dr. Cheryl believes that every pet deserves individualized attention and a treatment plan that considers both conventional and holistic options. Her goal is to restore comfort, mobility, and balance to her patients while supporting the special bond they share with their families. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, and exploring the outdoors—especially while hiking the trails of Mohican State Park. |

I have been a registered veterinary technician for more than 15 years. After graduating from the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School in 2006, my career has led me to some great experiences. One of which was returning to my alma mater to be an instructor and animal welfare coordinator for 10 years.
I am a certified Canine Myofascial Functional Therapist, and enjoy watching my patients' mobility and comfort level improve after their treatments. This hands-on approach to healing has deepened my connection with animals, and has refined my skills as a certified Reiki Practitioner. During my free time I enjoy being outside as much as I can. Some of my favorite pastimes are hiking, fishing, and gardening. Of course, doing any of these with my children and grandchildren make it even more fun! |
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your pet's healthcare team!
